Long Distance Ranges

If I didn't have family to pick up at the airport at noon, I'd be there with you.

Tim, sorry you couldn't make this trip. The weather was perfect.

Ended up staying there for about three hours. Shot 100rds. Helped a guy sight in a 8mm Mauser, his dad brought it back from WWII. It's cool shooting/handling a rifle with history, kicked like a mule.

Chaffee county range, 1000 yards, 2 or 3 pistol ranges a rifle sight in range, and a shotgun range, all free

+1 on that, one of the funnest days of my life plinking stuff at that place.

and its 100% FREE

too bad guys are beating up the steel with 50 BMG and 338 Lapua

+1 for chaffee. I've only shot pistol there, but it's hard to beat for being free.
