Default Nuthin' Fancy: Plinkers, squirrel slayers, and can punchers

Prolly my most prized rifle. A Remmy 521T .22LR. I know it's no high dollar 1000 Yard tack driver, but I grew up with this squirrel slayer. It has been missing a rear sight until last month's Tanner show. I found an old feller with two glass cases chock full of all manner of peep sights. There, right in the middle of all of it was a Lyman with a reciever block for a you guessed it, Remington 521T. She's whole again. All I need now are a few more magazines.

And prolly the best picture I've ever taken of anything:

It might not be "high dollar" but it's beauty. I really like that peep sight!!

Finally a place where my old remmy belongs! Its a model 34 squirrel asassin. It was originally purchased by my great grandfather and given to my grandfather, then it was given to my father, now it is mine. I have yet to shoot it since i claimed ownership 3 years ago. This rifle has more rodent lives on it then most, im sure. it still functions smoothly, despite not having a taste of oil for many years. I think since i pulled it out, thats the least it deserves, a thurough cleaning. BTW the wierd lookin thing inside the trigger guard is a leatherman, just to hold it up for the pic...
wow, the wall has really taken a toll on the stock, any ideas of how to get the scraped on paint off it?

Here are my favorite .22's I have.

Stainless 10/22 with Bushnell Trophy Scope, Hogue Stock, and Norrell integral suppressed barrel.

And my MKII which is currently waiting for a suppressor.

My grandfather gave this to us about 40 years ago.
    It's a Savage-Anschutz 22LR with a bushnell 4X scope.
