    Actually I still have the pile of paperwork and a check sitting here...

    Just as I was about to mail it off, I wound up emptying the "cookie jar" on a used STI .40. Now I need a couple cases of 180gr FMJ's and some powder.

    Then build my savings back up a little.

    It's still on my "to do" list. I'd just like to have the project completed by Memorial Day 2006.

    Lizard should be able to hook you up on bullets, Sportsman's Warehouse has some bullets and lots of powder.

    was it the used STI at specialty? If so good job beating me to that deal, it was gone when i came back for it.

    You probably saw that used STI Eagle for $1199. I was looking at it too.

    no, the one i saw was A compact STI .40 for a steal of a price 400.
    Came back the next day and it was gone.

    Usually don't see "steals" there in the used cabinet. I did notice a couple of .454 Casull's though...
