I bought the .40 conversion kit for my 92F from CDNN.

got it today.. very well packed, and pretty nice.


fits well, no issues. Can't wait to give 'er a go!
If it shoots well, it was a hella cheap way to goto another cartridge!

I'd like to hear how your converted 92 does function wise.

The one thing the 92 has done to earn my respect is that it has handled a huge variety of 9mm ammo including that horrible UMAX remanufactured stuff without any feed or eject issue.

The previous owner of mine had only fired 300 rounds (per him) from it and I've probably doubled that since I picked it up but the gun hasn't failed to function on anything I've fed it so far.

A man has to respect that in a semi-auto handgun.

If the CDNN kit can do it the same then I can get a more serious caliber into a gun that already shoots fine, I already have in my hands and I would just need to get the kit and some new mags. Cheaper than buying a 96 or one of the Taurus clones and mags.

Please keep us updated on any hiccups from the function side!

I haven't shoot much through it, but I haven't had any problems with the 9mm or .40.

I feel it was a good way to get in to .40 for real cheap.

hmm wonder if that would fit my PT92... been thinking about getting a .22 conversion kit for it as it stands. I already have a .40 and love it and on that frame it might be easier on the hand after a few hundred rounds
