Sounds like a deal to me.
That's what I was thinken, this thing is in A1 shape, and a good price too.
Do you want a Beretta 92? Or is it just a good deal you don't think you can pass up? Those are the questions I always have to ask myself when deciding on a purchase. I tend to be a bit impulsive with buying firearms.![]()
I have yet to shoot a 92 but I really like them from what people have said and from reading a bit on them. I'd like to snatch one up some day. It sounds like a killer deal to me.
Do what you've always done and get what you've always gotten.
What do you plan on using it for? The safety is in the worst place possible for a handgun so most find it ergonomically useless. If you have not shot with one before, find a place that rents them and try it first. $450 can get much more ergonomic handguns. However if you shoot it well and it fits your budget, go with it.
Nice pistol but the grip has always felt big to me and I dont care for the trigger.
Do you like it?
If you do it's a deal. If you dont then it is not a deal.

I have caried one for 10 years, I like them and it is a easy pistol to shoot and has some sentamental value too I guess. Nothing fits my budget
I got Big A## hands lol.
Thanks guys think I'll put it on layaway if it is still available on next pay day.
I have a 92 FSS Inox that I got years ago, and I really like it. It was my road gun for years, until I got my P225. The nice thing about the 92's is that mags are readily available and reasonably cheap; I have over a dozen for mine from when I was shooting it regularly. I do agree with BP, the grips are fairly good size but I have big mitts anyway so to me it's a plus. I put Hogue rubber grips on it and it's great. I paid around $500 for mine, new, over 10 years ago so I think $450 is a good deal.

New ones appear to be runnng in the low to mid $600 range, so $450 sounds like a very reasonable price.
I carried one for 24 years, so understand the nostalgia.
