How do you deal with depression when you can't go shooting?

Running is a great way to have some time with yourself to think about things, then feel great when you're done (after all the pain is drowned out by the endorphines), but I know it isn't for everyone. That includes me, since I haven't gone running in a long time.
I do things like play a video game, smoke a pipe/cigar, and have a Whiskey and Coke (I haven't been able to afford Jack in a very long time).

I shoot in video games. Call of Duty works pretty good.

Yes! I don't have any shooting games for the Wii anymore. Well, not ones where I can kill other people. I miss them. When I play Mario Kart, I scream and swear at the game, and I am NOT one of those people who freaks out over video games.

There is no dealing with it. At home we just walked out the back door and set up some targets. When we got done we grabbed a rod and started fishing. We could shoot our guns and then catch dinner in a very short time. I can't stand paying for these stinking ranges or driving a butt load of miles just to shoot. I miss home so bad. I wish my wife would be willing to move. The land is ours and living would be so cheap. Instead, I pay an ungodly house payment and have to plan a whole day and 100 bucks in gas to shoot my guns!!
Find someone to take you shooting.

I actually do a lot of reading to help me forget about whatever is stressing me out at the time. I like to immerse myself in someone else's world temporarily so I can get away from my own world. I often read myself to sleep. I have trouble going to sleep at night and would rather spend that time reading than just laying there letting thoughts pile up.
