Thumbs down wife's in the ER

She had to be taken from work in the ambulance for very bad pain in her side/stomach. Maybe kidney stone? They just did a cat scan so hopefully we will know soon. Of course I just dropped all my cash on a very nice Colt last night. I am sure this will cost a bucket of gold with my insurance. But hopefully she is ok and out soon! Then its off to rob the bank

Minus the ambulance ride, a Kidney stone costs around 5000 with no surgery, just meds. That is the cost without insurance. Surgery obviously cost more. Sorry to hear that. I went through the same thing with my fiance. Hope she recovers soon.

gall stones. kidney stones are more central. my gall stones put a serious pain into my right side, floored me cold. the kidney stone luckily was small enough i was only crying like a premenstrual teen for 20-30 min.

    hope everything is well.

Yes they are very expensive with surgery. My wife, two years ago, had the lithotripsy done to break up a stone 2/3 the size of a dime and from beginning to end it would have cost us close to $48,000 without insurance.

trlcavscout hope your wife recovers fast!
