    Default smoothing out glock RTF2

Has anyone known of anyone or any way to smooth out the frame on the RTF2 on a Glock 19? I have a standard G19 and a G19RTF2 with the fish gills and i really don't care for the feel of the frame on the RTF.

I was looking for do-it-yourself. I don't want to throw any cash into it, I got a CCW pistol to fund at this time.

Well that leaves the bench grinder as an option

I looked online and found nothing on it. I was hoping that there was "actual customer testimony".

Hit it with sand paper.. start out with a heavy grit, then go to a fine to smooth out anything thats bugging you still. Another option is to use the sticker decals or a slip on grip if you don't want to go after the finish yourself.

I'm willing to "donate" a bit of time to it "Gratis" because I would like to see what I can do with this. I have had a couple of inquiries similar and I really didn't have a good answer.

I don't know if I got the nerve to do any permanent alterations to my pistol. Give me a bit to think about it. I would rather see the results from another weapon and pay for the job than get one free and not like it.

Probably the best non-damaging solution would be as Badshot said, to find a slip-on grip. Of course, you better have giant hands by the time you slip a grip on a Glock!

    BPTactical,

You ROCK! That is a generous offer. OP should reconsider it. You have a great reputation for fantastic work here.

That being said, 200 grit sandpaper would knock off the roughest points, put masking tape over areas not wanting sanding marks...
