2 piece rifle length quad rail handguard?
I have seen a picture somewhere of a carbine with a2 sight tower useing rifle length handguards? I assume they are 2 piece and cut out for the tower? Anyone know what I am talking about or am I confused again? I would like to keep the front sight and add those guards vs buying low pro gas block, handguards, flip up sight etc.

Thats the one! You guys are awsome I have been googling for 10 minutes with no luck. Ya might be cheaper to go the alternative route?

Sure is, I've had one crack and another that wouldn't line up with the upper receiver rail for s#%*!
I think sniper7 had an MI crack as well.

Thanks. That one is cheaper but is also shorter. I like to grip out past where the sight is on a carbine but would like to keep the original tower if possible. Dont want to make any serious overall changes that cant be easily reversed. May just have to stick with what I have for now. Thanks again for the help guys.

But the one I saw at the small shop in ND last week was a tube carbine length with a rail forend out to 12 or 13 inchs
