    Welcome.

Sooo, tell us a little about yourself. We know you're from Aurora and have an interest in AR's, but do you have an AR yet? Looking to get one?

We've got lots of great info here and folks with a ton of firearms knowledge to take advantage of. Check out the site an jump on into the various forums.

While you're perusing the site, do yourself a favor and check out the site rules. It'll save you a lot of grief later on.

Yeah, looking to get one, but using a borrowed one at the moment. Of course, I have about 24 years using the military ones, so I am not unfamiliar with them. Currently I'm in the process of thinning the herd to fund a new AR. At this point, I'm looking at the Ruger SR556 or the S&W M&P15T. I'll likely change my mind several times before I actually get one!

Uh, just a word of caution. Once you take youe first step into the world of owning an AR, forever will it dominate your destiny. AR's are the most addictive "drug" I've ever experienced. Before you know it, you'll be mod'ing the one you have and looking to acquire more and more of them until your family has to step in for an intervention and you'll be attending AR's Anonymous meetings.

    Welcome!

I, too, must caution you. Ginsue's right, once the AR bug bites there's no turning back. I started with one A2 HBAR for highpower match shooting, and since then, well.....let's just say there's no hope for me. Just remember, we warned you. Hmmm....I remember my wife's uncle saying something like this to me before I got married... Now it's "Hi, my name's Trouble, and I don't think this is a problem!

Did Ginsue mention that this is the state AR's Anonymous site?

Not in Aurora myself, but I'm very close. Just to the south.
