Stamp Licker/Whore
Barrel Length?
I have an 1100 with a 30-something inch full choke goose barrel. I am looking to buy a new rem choke barrel. I will be using it for goose, upland, waterfowl and skeet/trap. Should I be looking at a 26" or 28" and why?

BIG PaPa
You probably wouldn't go wrong with either length. The difference in weight between the two is almost nothing and I personally don't notice much difference in the way a single barrel shotgun swings with either one. I really don't know if there is a big difference in the way they pattern either but I would be surprised if there was. After saying all of this, I personally prefer a 28" barrel for all of my shotgun needs and I seem to shoot better with the longer barrel. Maybe has something to do with the sight radius being a little longer?
Not sure if any of this was what you were looking for. I would recommend the 28" if you were looking for a recommendation.
Happy New Year!
