    no, I think our house allways smells like that. we have 4 boys 6 and under 2 of them in diapers, and someone is allways shitting. that and, i shit alot.

    I'm no expert by any means, but we've had meat in a deep freezer for 3 years and still ate it. It looked and smelled fine when it was defrosted...

    Everything I've read is what others have mentioned; it may not be as flavorful...

    There are reports and stories of people eating prehistoric frozen animals....

    So, IMO, as long as the meat isn't rotten its okay to eat.

    I use a foodsaver to vacuum seal my elk/deer/field goats, and I've had some in my big freezer for 3 or so years with no problems. My freezer stays at -5.
