    She was not sleeping.

My dollar says she nodded off.

Here other statements that piss me off.

Hartley County, Texas prosecutor David Green told the Amarillo Globe-News that he was "leaning toward taking the case straight to the grand jury because of the publicity in the case."
DA thinks only cases with lots of publicity are important and need to be handled expeditiously?

According to a police report, Williams also failed to provide proof of insurance. The report also describes how Williams, who claims not to remember the incident, carried her grandson back into the car and placed him in a child seat after he had been thrown from the car.
If one of us "commoners" had been driving that car we would be in jail.

You don't need to be sleeping or texting or anything else to be distracted when you have a 3 year-old in the car; especially if they weren't buckled in.

I don't think there is such a thing as moving things after an accident though. I could be wrong, but none that I've ever heard of.

Go Ahead, move a body, Any Body.
    Crime scene, accident scene, whatever.
I believe the only way you could get away with it is if there is imminent threat and you are attempting rescue. <--- General Rule

Making the dead Body of your grandson "more comfortable" because you screwed up and didn't buckle him in... I am pretty sure doesn't qualify.

edit: didn't see this posted above. sorry about that.

A preliminary accident report released Wednesday showed that after a fatal crash in Texas, Colorado state Sen. Suzanne Williams picked up her 3-year-old grandson and put him in a child's carseat before police arrived.

You said anything, not body. You were a firefighter, so you know about that stuff than I do. However, I was under the impression that moving a person opens you up to legal liabilities, but I've never heard of it being a crime. Not saying it isn't, just haven't heard about it.

Also, I thought the only person that died was the driver of the other car (pregnant lady)? Did one of this monster's passengers die as well?

And I bet she buckled him in as well. If this comes to be true then it will be a simple case of cover up with no wiggle room.

    there is an update.

I hope they fry her ass. she killed a pregnant woman, possibly the baby (no update on that). injured her own child due to negligence even after she lobbies to have people get in trouble for not buckling up.

she needs to be made an example of.

I sure wish I was on that jury.

David Lane, great, there is a pain in the xxx person to represent anyone. When you've hired him, you are trying to hide something.
