Timely. I had a pressure reducer burst yesterday where the water line enters the house (the pressure reducer housing itself cracked; I have never seen that before) and pretty much got raped on the service call.

Thanks guys, for all the responses/PMs and advice. I think I've figured out a way to jimmy-rig a fix, but it's great to have all the resources available to turn to if I get in too deep. Thanks again.
