Default .22LR Handguns Reccomendations with Poll!!!

    Ladies and Gents,
Please respond to poll and then in thread as to WHY you picked your choice - i.e. small frame, smooth grip, etc.

As far as why the thread: Friend has wife who would like a small .22 handgun.... my wife wouldn't mind one either.... No money and I'm not buying now, just want to open discussions on it.

I personally would pick the Sig Mosquito as one could add a can to it and it be "more funner"!

    Thank you.

    Browning Buckmark

    Accurate little gun.

Browning Buckmark. Inexpensive, eats anything, very durable, good looks, lots of aftermarket support.

    I have this one

    and this one on order

I voted for the P22 because that's the only .22 pistol I own. I would buy the Buckmark or Ruger MK I,II or III before I bought any other .22 pistol.

I have several S&W K frame .22 and .22 magnums, I also have an older (1992) model 41 that is a work of art. They are all great guns to shoot. For and inexpensive ~$325 fun gun I just got the GSG 1911. Blast to shoot and seems to be well made. Love those .22s

I've always entered a forum by testing the water head first, so here goes. Favorite 22 pistol Ruger MkI short bull barrel factory thumb rest grips. Bought it new in 73 and I don't want to think about how much ammo it's gone through. The only change has been a security-six front sight, to make it easier to get out of the holster.
