Default Does "Preban" mean anything anymore?

Just curious. I have several guns that were bought before the "ban". Now that its over do these guns have any more or less value? If I have a Bushmaster AR from before the ban VS a brand new one?
The enemy of my enemy...... Is just one more set of targets to engage

I think that price is way high but I hope it helps.

Could mean something in California, New York, or other states that still have the ban.

Could make some decent cash off of them selling to people in those states.

    Correct!

In New York, pre-ban lowers are not subject to the 2 "evil feature" restrictions that post-ban guns are subjected to. Meaning: Flash hider, removable muzzle device, collapsible stock, bayonet lug, pistol grip, detachable magazine. Pick two.

Basically, a standard AR has to have a permanently attached brake (or non-threaded barrel), bayonet lug removed and pinned stock to be "ban-legal".

What a swell place to live, eh? I think that is all the same as the national AWB, but there was no sunset for NY.

When I lived there (over a year ago) a standard pre-ban AR was going for $1500-2000. A stripped lower fetched $300-400.

in colorado it means, they either horded before the clinton ban or payed too much, and they want to pass the "savings" on to you.

Pre-89 import means no 922r games. Can go 100% import parts.

It isn't such a big deal here but I like not having to think about 922r at all for my SAR 48. I wish I had sold my pre-ban Colt HBAR sporter about 10 years ago.
