Got a Jackiwawa named Paco of all things! (jack russel/chiuawa.. all hell I can't spell it). Had him for about 6 years, and love the hell out of this dog. Bar none the best pup I have ever had.

Believe it or not, wonderful with my family/friends/ and babies/kids.

Grrr.. can't seem to load pic for some reason...

I've had people mistake him for a greyhound if they only see him from behind...that only lasts until he turns around. He looks like the top front of a pit leaned out and grafted on to the back of a greyhound. He's strong as a pit, and fast as a greyhound. I got to watch him several years ago go after someone in my backyard who shouldn't have been there; my shepherd mix (TJ) was first out the door and Bruno passed him mid-yard and was a length ahead by the time he reached the back fence, which the young man had just made it over ahead of Bruno. But if he knows that we've allowed you in, he's your best friend. My boy's new chocolate lab is a good dog, but about as much a guard dog as my slippers. My daughter's Bichon is actually a dang good guard dog, just not much in the way of backing up the bark (unless you're a rabbit...)

Stella was my best buddy for 10 years. We adopted her in Dec 2000. Old age and kidney failure finally claimed her on Dec 23. I was...and still am...heartbroken she's gone.

She was a fixture in my gun store in Bailey for 8 years so a few of you may have known her. Doggie heaven is a much better place now that she's there.

    I miss you, Stella.

The photo was taken at home in Aug 2010 after an IV fluid treatment at the vet's office.

We actually have 4 dogs now that my fiance and I live together. She has 3. They are rat terrier/american eskimo mix (Larry), scottie/schnauzer mix (Puck), border terrier (Nives) and pitbull (Brutus). Brutus is SO gentle with the others. They bite on him all day long, pulling at his lips and face. If they bite too hard and he's had enough, he'll growl and pin em to the ground with one paw.

Here's my two. Jake who is a 95lb lab mix and Bentley who is a 20lb Shih-Tzu. Both are great dogs and Bentley thinks he's bigger than Jake and it's funny to watch them play.

They are very spoiled and lazy though!
