    Default Flashlights

I thought I read something about the Fenix LD01 on here before but couldn't find it so I thought I would repost it. Recently picked up one and really enjoy it for an extremely lightweight flashlight for my survival pack (to help lighten the load) and for my daily loadout. It is so small it can fit right in my pocket.

What is your thoughts on use for weapon lights? How do they handle recoil? I have been a bit of a surefire whore in the past. I see fenix runs cree set-ups, and I wouldn't mind finding a cheaper option.

Haven't used any for weapon lights but the ones I used for work took a helluva beating and stood up to it. Go to 4sevens.com that site may be able to give you more info

I don't mind weapons lights for duty, since I am already carrying a bunch of crap on my batman belt. I have a Surefire X200 (I think) on my pistol. Off duty I try to go as lightweight as possible. I know that I shouldn't be responding to a call rather than trying to find an exit if something happens. But a flashlight is something good to have and again the LD01 is lightweight and very small.

Surefire is a good company. Although their LED's only last 4 hours when you need them for 8 hours. But its still pretty good.

I purchased a Fenix LD-10 a few months back, and it's been my favorite daily carry light so far. Very bright for it's size, has a pocket clip, and carries very comfortably in my back pocket.
