Anyone using a Millett DMS1 with A2 front sight?

Does the A2 front sight interfere with the sight picture, does it co-witmess, do I need a higher mount?
Suggestions?

I have two, both are mounted on 20 inch A4 rifles. I dont have irons on these rifles and I beleive these scopes are best for optics only rifles. However I dont believe it would be a good co-witness scope. At the 4 power your front sight post should not be visible, and at low power I assume it would look fisheyed.

I think that it is a great scope for the money. The burris mount it comes with should help you get over the front sight enough. I have one in an Armalite mount and the other in a Burris Mount. The Armalite mount is a bit lower than the Burris PEPR (I do prefer the Armalite mount). I paid about $70 dollars more for each package so that $259.00 is a steal. T I did mount a PEPR on a PTR MSG for a few range trips and it did clear the front and rear sights of this HK clone. So I assume it with clear the AR front sigt, just make sure you rear sight is a flip down, it may clear still.

I've got one on a 16" midlength with a fixed FSB.

It's only the slightest ghosting at 1x (unnoticeable in practical use), and the FSB disappears completely above 1.5x. I would say it's not a problem at all at any magnification. On a carbine gas system, I'm not sure you'd even notice anything on 1x.

I don't have experience with the PEPR, but if you want to do some digging, I have mine in a Larue SPR-1.5 mount, which doesn't get the scope out far enough, given the fairly generous eye relief.

I've got two of these scopes, great for the price, but they are entry level. So I've got both an Armalite and a Primary Arms mount, given that they are pretty close in price, I actually like PA mount better. The reason for that is because as an option you can add a rail to the top of one or both of the rings, that allows you to add a small dot like a Burris Fast Fire or the new Trijicon ... heck even the new PA small dot.

As for the front sight post, I've noticed it on the 1x setting, but I really don't mind it being there, its sort of a co-witness, makes it a bit easier to pull up a fast shot for me. That deal you linked to is a hell of a deal, if you're looking at a entry level short dot optic then I'd say jump on that one!
