Screw the recession, I'm going to college!

As the title says, screw this shit going on right now, I'm going to enroll in college. Not just any college though. A college for gunsmiths. It requires me moving to Trinidad for it, it will suck living in a town of less than 10,000 people. At least they have a Walmart! Between the grants and student loans, we will have more than enough for school plus extra to get by. Their school is the oldest and biggest in the nation and most reguarded. You have a job when you get out, period. You get offers from Remington and all the other big companies. Remington hires from that school and no others and there are usually more spots offered for hire by companies than there are students.

HHMMMM... deal with the recession just to get another "man I hate this job" kind of job. I was an HVAC Foreman and I still hated the job. I have ran my own car lot, hated that too. Now, learning how to build guns from blocks of metal, and how to put the rest of them together including the old ones... Sounds good to me! Devoting two years of my life to do this doesn't seem bad considering all the other things I have wasted two years on.

Any major life change takes courage to actually step into, but it sounds like you have a plan and know that you want 'something better' for yourself. Tremendous idea.
