Default US Debt to pass $14 trillion

    http://www.usdebtclock.org/

The Federal Govt is spending $2.88 billion per day which will put our debt beyond $14 Trillion in 25 days or so. It's a matter of when the USD will be devalued and hyper inflation will then kick in. If the past 60 years is any indication neither the Republican nor the Democrats will be able to curb spending.

I say if you have substantial cash saving spend spend spend! Buy appreciating assets today! Your paper money will be worthless soon enough.

    oh..and Happy New Year!

A good start to curbing the debt would be a flat tax across all income levels and the massive reduction of the size of government. Unfortunately, too many people have become accustomed to the government tit and refuse to stop feeding off of it. Our government is completely corrupt, but there is too many people that are unwilling to see the big picture. As long as it does not effect their lives, they don't care.

    Agreed.

There will come a day when that government check won't be honored and then those recipients will be pissed and looking for their free shit in our houses.

And that Robert is the day it will be REALLY fucking loud in my house, specifically sharp and loud noises followed by a pile of "recipents" of my "Sharing of wealth" in front of the house.
