Another Ruger Countdown
Does anyone know what the new gun is that Ruger is releasing tomorrow? I've heard speculation about either a 1911 or some sort of tactical shotgun.
Clues? Guesses?

My guess is 1911 with Caspian frame.
I found someone else saying it was "for sure" going to be a polymer-framed single action (with a built-in laser in the ejector rod...I'm hoping that's a joke).
How about a SR-308? That'd be cool.

My bet is on a 1911.
On a related Ruger note I see they are now offering SR-556 uppers for sale. That's cool.

That one's already in their catalog and on the webpage. The identity of the new gun isn't supposed to be released until 2pm tomorrow.
