Even a mile is far to walk, both ways, for food, if you think about it.

Good Grief-I can still remember as a kid going grocery shopping with my Mom and pulling my Red Flyer wagon and her with one of those collapsible 2 wheel carts to the grocery store once a week. If memory serves me right it was probably more than a mile.

We had a little grocery store in our rural area.
My mom would make me ride my bike the 5 miles to and from to get a few things now and then that we forgot.
Took me nearly 4 hours, stopped at pond, watched the man on the tractor, played in the ditch for tadpoles...

Bull!! They are not "stuck" eating fast food. It's what they WANT because they are too lazy to walk a mile to a real store. A mile is NOT a long ways, even in bad weather. I'm sick and tired of FAT people making me look bad. <--I say that because I am FAT but I at least try to work out and stay in halfway decent shape. I can walk a damn mile if I want a salad instead of BBQ lays potato chips.

They might not have a car but I cna almost garuntee you they have a 50 inch plasma TV, xbox, and the newst phone!
