Shopping cart rant

Came out of Safeway today and found that some stupid fucktard ran their cart into the side of my truck. Not a huge dent but big enough and on the driver's side that I will notice it and it will piss me off everyday. Now, I'm not like all the other fat ass lazy people that squeeze my truck in between two other cars just so I can park two spaces closer to the door. After all I don't want those dumb bitches denting my truck with their doors. I have seen it too often. Some fat tool opens their door and leans in to load groceries all the while their big ass is bumping and slamming their door into the car parked next to them. Fries my hide. I park near the end of the lot away from everything to prevent this stuff.

My wife will attest that one of my biggest pet-peeves is lazy ass fuckers who can't walk ten feet to the cart corral so they just leave them in the middle of the lot for the wind to catch or to roll into other people's cars. I bitch about it every time we go to the store. In fact, every time I go to the store I round up all the carts in the area that I parked in and put them away just so they don't run into cars...not only my car but everyone else's cars as well. This particular Safeway has cart corrals every 30 feet! Now why the fuck would some dumb punk send their cart rolling across the lot instead of walking their lazy pitiful existence of a life 15 feet away and putting the cart away? This is a perfect example of how indifferent we have become as a society. What has this disrespectful, arrogant and self-centered culture come to that it's OK to damage other people's stuff just because people don't want to strain themselves with a 10 second walk? Damn I'm pissed...

Personal responsibilty it not taught anymore. No one cares what happens as long as it's not "their" stuff. Sorry about your truck man. I rant to my wife about the same thing.

Yup major rant on this topic-just the other day I was sitting in the truck at King Soopers and a lady beside me opens her door right into the side of my truck. She looks right at me and just walks away,not even an oops or sorry. I actually just sat there for a few minutes to cool down otherwise this could have gotten real shitty real fast.

You're right Bear. I'm only 28 and even I can see a change in how people are raised. I've worked hard to provide a nice life and nice things for me and my family and I also work hard to be kind, respectful and caring to other people. It just drives me nuts when some individuals are so insolent to other people.

Exactly. That sucks dude. To your point, as I was leaving I actually thought to myself it was a good thing I didn't witness the person do that for the same reason you sat in your truck to cool down.

Happened to me about a month ago but luckly no dent. The people that left the cart just watched it roll into my car, I was in the drivers seat car off helpless

I usually park way away as i have a dually. Onece at Costco we parked all by ourselves way the fuck out in nowhere land and came out and a LEXUS had run into the rear fender. We waited (there was anote on the windsheild), a lady came out said she was hoping to catch us if possible. Gave me all of her info and to make the story short she paid CASH a few days later based on the body shops estimate (1600.00) I think most would have hauled ass.


Anyway Billy Mays is gone but that suction cup thing he was selling is sold at Harbor Frieght for about 10.00 now, it's only good for 1 use as we found out but hey maybe it would work.

One other funny thing about parking lots is 9 times out of 10 when I park at the back of the lot with no one anywhere near me I come out to find a car parked right next to me. I think they do it on purpose. They see a car parked in back, know that I parked there to avoid being near other cars and so they just have to be dicks and park next to me. Thinking the whole time "Who does he think he is parking at the back of the lot. He thinks his car is better than everyone else's. I'll show him. I'll park right next to him."
