So, I'm reading this thread thinking "Naw, not my thing".

I get to the last post (above this one) and click on the YouTube link to watch the vid.

I must say that I was impressed and think it could come in handy in a TEOTWAWKI scenario, but could also waste a lot of ammo. Overall, my opinion was positive - until I clicked on the link to see how much they cost. HOLY COW they think a lot of those stocks.

I don't see one in m foreseeable future unless one of you on this site wins the lottery and buys one for me.

The Akins accellerators didn't get grandfathered in. If the ATF changes their minds, I wouldn't expect to see these get grandfathered either.

The Akins had 2 letters from the ATF both allowing them for civie sale....lotta good it did them.

If the ATF writes you a letter, it applies to YOU only, and even then, it is only if they feel like it.


EDIT: Watched the video. That is fucking sweet! I give it till the end of this year before it is illegal. Sooner if a politician gets a hold of it.

I forsee this going the way of the Accelerator. ATF says it's good to go...someone else in the AFT see it and says "Whoa woah woah!!! Negative"...and then they get pulled back in. All it takes is one shooting with this device and someone flips their lid and away they go. It's unfortunate but that's the way it goes. Anything that reliably replicates full auto has been a no go so far with the ATF. They have allowed the "GAT Trigger systems" and other gimmic bolt on parts because they don't really work well. The Accelerator and this make bumpfire very easy, hence my prediction.
