I meant if I were the luck guy lookin for a 9. The DAO on the sig isn't like any other trigger I have pulled. It is a lot softer, not bad at all. Still though, I wouldn't pick a sig over an Hk or FNH any day of the week. JMO.

Is it maybe striker fired, and labelled DAO? That just came to me, and would make sense.

Edit: Just looked it up on the Wikipedia. Its a "self-decocking" recessed hammer DAO with a trigger pull of about 5.5lbs. Sounds pretty good to me!

I won't buy shit unless they let me function check it. That most importantly includes the trigger. Many stores will have snap caps so you can dry fire before you buy. Or they let you do it anyway. I racked the slide on a Kel-Tec at 5280 and they bitched at me and told me not to because if they let everyone in the store rack the slide then it will get worn out. I was speechless. You want me to buy a gun that will get worn out after 10 people rack the slide???? The guy behind the counter then took it from me and dry fired it. Why not let me dry fire it? I don't know...

Anyway, back on track, here are some 9mm options off the top of my head. If you have the money the Para PDA is great. Still not as small as you're looking for but a great small 9mm. Or have you looked at the Taurus Slim or Millennium Pro? Both available in 9mm and slightly smaller than the Walther PPS.

I don't know of any true 9mm pocket pistols...the .380 options are always going to be smaller. I personally can't wait to get my hands on the S+W Bodygaurd .380. About $370 with integral laser. I bet you can't find those for a year or two though...

PS - the LC9 does look bad ass.

The LC9 is very big from reading its dimensions.

Firing line wouldn't let me release the slide catch on their guns. They were very appreciative of me asking before I dry fired but the guy had a minor freak out when some other dude dropped the slide.

I have found that if you have no reserves about handling a gun in a store, they don't really care if you do a functions check. Dealing with counter people strikes me like dealing with women at bars. If you do not approach the subject with confidence, you will get looked down upon and greatly ruin your chances of getting to first base.
