    Default Another new old guy

    Bought my first rifle larger than a .22 last week. Got a DPMS LR-308 Classic (20" barrel).

    Did way too much research and have now spent as much on accessories as I did on the gun and I haven't fired a round yet!

    Will try to get to a range and do the barrel break-in this weekend at least.
    Looking forward to meeting people and attending meets.

    It sounds like you've learned early in the process that there are more ways to accessorize an EBR than there are for a Barbie doll.
