We spent a whole afternoon when we were there shooting turtles. Ever shoot a turtle with an AR? Holy smokes is that a riot. You shoot turtles because the wreck the bass fishing ponds. Even if you didn't have a ligit reason it's still fun. Like watery prairie dogs
Never hunted pigs or p. dogs, but when I was a kid in OK I used to go fishing a lot with a neighbor that leased some bass fishing ponds. Those ponds were overran with turtles, and they'd eat the fish right off your stringer. Man, that would piss me off!

So I rigged up my single shot .22 rifle with dad's old deer rifle scope, dialed it in, and did a few tours on the ponds as a "turtle sniper". Damn, that was fun! Had more fun doing that than fishing. I must have killed a couple hundred of them. When only the turtle's head is poking out of the water and you splatter it at 30-40 yds. with a .22, that's great sport!

I'd love to get me some p. dog action someday, wouldn't mind hogs either.

I have heard that the darker pork (only found in wild pig) tastes a lot better. What would you say about it? Confirmed?

It is alot like beef in taste but way leaner. we usually grind most of it out; except for the straps and one quarter. Really very good

yeah it isn't a bad price.

there are also some guys on ar15.com that own ranches or are guys that work ranches and are the same prices. there are plenty of these out there. even look on craigslist and you will find the same thing.

of course it would be nice to go somewhere that another person you know or kinda know has been to give a thumbs up or down on if it was worth it to go again.

I have been dying to go on a hog hunt at some point but will only take my AR with the silencer.
