    totally agree! it is more fun then you can even imagine. I took over 100 last year and can also give out some ranch connections.

    OMG, she'd keep you warm in the winter and provide shade in the summer! My kind of girl!

    Pig hunting is a hoot. I've made three trips to TX and killed four pigs. Been using two AR's, a 450 Bushmaster and a 6.5 Grendel.

    As soon as the back gets completely healed, I'll be off again.

    Ok I know this thread has drifted but..

    I grew up on a hog farm to I've killed a bunch of pigs but slightly different environment and methods.

    Through the ear was always good even with a 22lr.

    If I recall the heart is really low in the chest cavity. Is this true? So basically you don't want a normal shoulder shot if I remember how the things are built their stomachs are up higher? If you were shooting one straight on you'd want to aim lower third of chest?
