Looks like what's left of my knee is about to be upgraded. Input ONLY from those who have had one or both of them replaced. I appreciate the input from those who have had a family member get it, however i'm looking for 1st person experience.
TIA

My brother does them (sometimes), too bad you're not in Ohio where he lives ... does good work from what I can see.
only 1 reply. with the varying age spread here, i figured at least one of you would raise theeir hand. Fine looks like i have to experience it first hand.
My neighbor had one knee done last summer and the other one is going to happen this coming summer. Not first hand experience but I know she was in pain for several weeks after and would walk to her mail box then to mine then down the street to build it back up. Recovery was slow but it she made it through just in time for the other to be replaced.

Dad just had his done. Make sure to take your rehab seriously, if you don't it will greatly limit your mobility.
X2 at 27 my knees are fine (knock on wood). You were looking for first hand experience, and if anyone here has first hand experience, they aren't posting so far. My Grandmother had replacements on both knees in the last two years, and she is in her 80's, she gets around MUCH better than before, and her recovery was fairly quick for her age. I know I didn't give you the info you were looking for, but wanted to give you positive feedback on knee replacement, from experience through a loved one. Good luck Jim
