Stainless Steel Media ?

I've been using the stainless media and the Thumbler Tumbler for about 6 months. Works great, cases look new inside and out. Tumble 100 cases of 6.5 Creedmoor in each batch.

Cool. I just haven't bought the stainless media yet. Holding out since it is a little pricey.

Unknown at this point, I'll try to go get an RPM count in just a bit and post back. I just changed out the motor, got a great deal on a modern motor from Fentonite a few days ago. The motor is 1750 RPM I believe, small pulley, Large pulley on barrel drive shaft. I'd say that I'm around 40RPM, but will confirm soon.

Mine is doing 56 rpm on the 4 inch pvc tumbler barrel.

1750 rpm motor, 1 inch pulley, 5 inch pulley, 4 inch pvc.

Does the stainless media have to be used in a liquid tumbler, or can it be used in a vibratory tumbler also?

Haven't tumbled much brass in mine as of yet, still need to dish out $50 for media. I've tried a few strange things, and it appears the LemiShine does most of the work of shining up the brass. The media is just for getting the grime off.

I might buy some rocks and polishing media though and try some rock polishing! I can get it pretty cheap here locally.
