    Park Co occasionally holds auctions of seized property. Guns are sold to individuals then given to FFLs for transfer to the buyers. I've acted as the transferring FFL a couple of times in the last 5 or 6 years.

    Very few of the guns were worth owning and bid prices were amazingly high. On almost every gun I transferred I could've sold the same thing out of my shop for much less than the bid price. People seem to get really stupid when they start bidding on stuff...especially guns.

    Ok, that's what I figured. I did a little more research after posting this, and couldn't find anything about it. Oh well, no skin off my back!

    But it does make me sick that they take a torch to some of these firearms..
