    Default Police auctions

I've heard stories of guys going to police auctions and picking up guns for dirt cheap. Is there any place in our state that does that and to be more specific, around the middle of March (I'll be back from Trashcanistan by then)

I have the hungarian naval rot which can only be cured by purchasing firearms [ban1]

Unless things have changed in the past year, the auctions for police turn-ins and other firearms (evidence release, "found" guns, etc) were available ONLY to FFL licensees. And, they typically sold the guns in "lots" versus onesey-twosey.

In order to obtain one of these firearms, you have to purchase through an FFL retailer.

At least, that's the way it was in El Paso county last year.

I only have heard of FFLs being able to bid on lots of guns. sometimes there was a diamond in the rough so to speak. lots of shitty guns and maybe a few decent ones in there.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

I don't know about here in CO. But Kansas, all property room firearms are destroyed when their time for holding is up.
A friend of mine was a mechanic for a larger city back in Kansas, and once a year the P.D. Would haul a butt load of firearms to his shop and he had to take a cutting torch to each one as the officers laid each one out.
