I sincerely hope I never see him again. With any luck he'll cool down and get on with the rest of his life. From the way he was acting I have visions of him out there right now sawing down the 55 signs. I was surprised it ended up in a trial. I was quite ready to let him rewrite the ticket, sign and pay.

Nah. If you are right, you are right and should stand up for yourself. It is admirable to be willing to accept a lower speed citation, but he needs to be aware of the speed limits and zones if he is going to run traffic.

Damn shame. One bad cop ruins it for all the decent ones.
