True but just for all that stuff to fall in place is just, well neat. You could shoot someone in the head in the OR with six nuero-surgeons in the room, how many people do you think could survive. Whether you consider this a theological, or medical miracle, its still amazing.

Meh,, It's happened before. Just the right angle and such.. I can't recall all the details but, sometime during the 40's or 50's, There was a case where some dude got shot, and it took out the little connecter between the right brain and the left brain. He ended up with steady employment as a subject in right/left brain studies.

Most don't use it either. Case and point, 10mins ago my 2 year old was playing with an attachment to my vacuum. She brings it to me and we go to put it back on. I'm trying to jam it in the round spot, sarcastically I ask her where is goes and she point to the exact spot (not where I was jamming it) that it belonged.

There is also a difference between living and functioning, just because 40% (or whatever the statistic is) survive that doesn't mean all of them have some or any function left. As far as miracles go, well that's not something I like arguing about, she is doing good and miracle or luck that is great.

Unfortunately, miracles and all aside, they are going to turn her into another Brady "Meat Puppet" and start this stupid, knee-jerk, regulatory BS All Over Again. I really hate to say it, but... Why oh why couldn't that schmuck have just plowed into the Crowd with a Cadillac Escalade?!?

It's almost worse for law abiding citizens when a public figure survives one of these attacks! You watch... she will spend a little time "at her post" and then she will hit the Fundraising/Lecture Circuit talking about her "experience". DAMN... she was a Moderate and not in favor of Gun Criminalization Legislation, too! We may have lost her to the "Dark Side"... the MONEY is going to be JUST TOO GOOD!!!
