Always ask for the "amnesia pill", halcion. Really cheap, you only need one, it doesn't put you out completely, and while you'll vaguely remember being at the dentist office, you'll forget any "horrors"...

I still have all my wisdom teeth and they came in when I was like 12 or 13.

I've hears that horrid noise before. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled the lower two were impacted so bad I had to have them drilled and broke into 4 pieces just to extract and that was after cutting into the jawbone a little to help. Worst thing was I could not afford the fun gas so I did local anistetic(?). 3 hours later and lock jaw from my mouth being wide open that long, they were gone and I was drooling all over myself. Oh and I just started dating my wife...how she stuck around after that I dont know!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled about 5 years ago. The doc suggested two at a time but I was cheap. If you're numb enough it doesn't hurt but those noises and sensations are so wrong! That night I discovered oxycodone gives me insomnia. Whacked & wide awake. Stay away from dentists.

Been there done that !! No fun that's for sure. You may get small fragments working out of the gum in a few months if he didn't get all of them. No pain involved but worried me until I realized what was happening

Had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at once. Had a 2 hour big band gig the same night (playing lead). I was bleeding horribly but felt no pain. It sucked and was awesome at the same time... It actually was a good concert, I played prety darn well for just having 4 teeth pulled hours earlier.
