BYPC Thread?

Okay I understand that getting a lot of post counts mean you're not a "noob"! Does the post count give people seniority? I ask because I really don't see the point and people who sit there all day babbling about nothing, it isn't really contributing to the site. I know I'll get flammed for this so go ahead and have at it! I'm just not seeing the point of talking about nothing all day. However, I do see that the thread should be there as like a blog spot...write something that has no relation to this site, briefly.
