What county, is it in a city limits, is it part of a Sub-divion
Some thing also to look at do you have a back drop or can you make one on the land your looking at.

It all comes down to jurisdiction....

I live in Fremont County, unincorporated (If Penrose was a township, I still wouldn't be in it)... so only jurisdictions are CO state & Fremont county... neither one has rules against it, so I'm clear to blast away (but I'm still liable for where the bullets go and any damage they do)

I own property in another part of Fremont Co. no township there, either- but there is a POA, and they have a rule against it. (go figure, it's even more remote than where I live)

I don't know and the local police may not know either; but will tell you no in any case is my guess.

Superior CO = Broomfield / Adams County (i think) and probably has similar rules on "Projectiles" as many other cities. do.

We are looking north of boulder, it is located in the foothills with no nearby neighboors, and is locatedin boulder county, not any where near a city.

I would obviously build some sort of dirt hill to shoot into and with nothing behind it for safety reasons.
