keep the people down and those in the enforcement will be the hardest hit. people are also probably losing it due to no job, no money, poor economy, rising prices due to inflation, anger at the .gov, anger at the world, personal issues like divorces due to the economic situation etc etc.
people finally lose it when it becomes too much. it is very sad the cops are getting shot and being the first line of defense.
I think what's even more sad is there are some, right here on this forum, that won't see it that way.

I hope you don't mean me Bailey. None of those cops were doing anything other than their jobs. Nothing wrong with a road side stop.

No. Perhaps my comment was a little over the top. I just find some of the things said here recently about law enforcement officers to be a little disturbing.

I'd have to have a damn strong reason to toss away 100 of my brethren like that. I know I could live with that kind of furlough without huge problemsThe Fraternal Order of Police in Camden New Jersey proved without a shadow of a doubt, public union willingness to toss fellow officers to the dogs.
In a 300-1 vote, the union rejected an offer that that would have saved 100 jobs. That offer called for three days a month of unpaid furloughs for patrol officers for six months, then one furlough day in each of the following 12 months.
