Default Any Good Books on Building an AR15

Are there any good books out for building an AR15? Are there any complete kits that you can buy?

    Default Yes!

I recently used Glen Zediker's The Competitive AR-15: A Builder's Guide available from Brownell's. The price was about $35. I found it to be extremely helpful, even though I have many years' experience as a mechanic. I had done some home gunsmithing projects before but Glen's book filled in many blanks and kept me out of trouble during my first "build".

The only problem I've had so far was caused by forgetting to perform a step that Mr Zediker emphasized as critical. It was easily taken care of.
