I had Mononeucleosis all through Basic but was able to persevere (sp?).

If you get a chance to talk to T-Slice again, please tell him that while it does suck badly right now, we know he's got what it takes to push through, get himself healthy, and continue pursueing his dream. This is just another challenge he has to hurtle, but once past it, he will be a stronger person for it and better off than his squadmates.

t-slice called home last night and he's in the hospital with pneumonia. His spirits are a bit low right now so please keep him in your thoughts and if your so inclined send a prayer his way...thanks

its just a speed bump-he'll get better
the thing about basic is you have so many people from different parts of the country its almost impossible not to catch something
i hope he dosent have wait too long for the next cycle after he gets better -the waiting sucks
just remind him its a short time and it'll pass quickly and he'll be off to better things-like some trigger time!!!
