    Default Actually Found a Deal at the Gunshow...

    Was at today's Tanner show and saw what I thought was a good deal;

    Old-timer had M4gery Stag Uppers for ~465.00 and a complete rifle built on a Plum Crazy Lower for ~550ish AND free CBI check. Again, I'm talking Gunshow.

    Seemed like a deal to me although I'm not sure yet what I think of the PCL...

    I bought my second PCL. Take it to Rob at Bowers and have him file it down so mags drop free.

    Thanks for the tip at Shades of Grey!

    Who did you buy the rifle from? Was it Colorado Brass? He's a nice guy.

    Dam I just might have to go and check out the Tanner one of these times. I havent been to a gun show in years. I hate how the vendors BS and lie to you, to get you to buy there Special limited edition, going to be banned, over priced crap. I guess they havent heard of this new little thing called the internet, I hear it's catching on.

    Picked up an Aimpoint Micro for my dad for $450.

    Saw a Glock 17 RTF for $430 including tax, did a lap around thinking about it, and when I got back it was gone.

    Oh well, live and learn, right? He who hesitates is lost.

    I didn't buy that AR. I told my wife when I got home and she was surprised I didn't buy it. Of course that does NOT mean I can go back tomorrow and see if its still there she says.

    Dang thats an excellent price on that Glock! I was there looking for a G17 (at a good price). The ones I saw were 520.00+ which when I think about it, is not a bad price.

    IMO, it seems if you are willing to spend the time looking, you can find a few deals, which wasn't the case a couple of years ago...

    I saw that plum crazy too, thought it was a fair deal myself. I scored some hard to find mags, and lot's of 8mm for $8.00/70 rounds.

    Wow if that was new that is a great price! Could you let me know who was selling it, I would like to do business with their distributor. Thanks for the heads up! $249.00 is way below dealer cost!

    I didn't have the cash else I would have bought it.

    I'm not sure how much walking around you did, but it was the guy who had a Saiga 12 for $550, across the lane and north from Machine Gun Tours. Sorry I don't have a name.

    It had the tag on it so it was new...did they make a version without the laser? Maybe thats why it was cheap. I can't figure it out otherwise.
