whens the first party? my wife and i shoot all the time,, we spend a lot of time off gold camp road around frosty park, camping. live in security area, pistol shoot a lot up there, but really not a lot of room for rifle shooting(long range) so we go up off hwy,67 near manitou lake, drive in with a jeep. have 2 wilson combat black rifles, 6.8 recon and a 223 tatical. and we take our 2 beagles camping with us.we pretty much just shoot by ourselves.since our kids are grown and gone.went shooting today, only concern is trying to find your edjected brass in the snow pack. would like to come to your next meeting, thanks for reading.

    Welcome to the forum.

We got tired of the "hunt" for brass a while back.
Got one of those big tarps from Harbor Freight for pretty cheap. Spread it out on the ground, snow, grass, etc. paying attention to where the firearms are ejecting (more or less centering the ejecting shells on the tarp) saves us a BUNCH of looking, time, and bending over. Just grab the corners and pour the empties into a 5 gallon bucket when done. Or just roll it up until you get home.

Doesn't work real well if you are walking all over the place, but we don't do too much of that.
