as has been pointed out, sikhs aren't muslims.

also, I've seen lots of sikhs but I've never seen any of them wearing knives.

but the point of the thread is still valid. they expel kids for having a steak knife in their trunk, they should expel a kid for wearing a knife because waheguru said so.

Ok this really pisses me off. I used to bagpipe for Denver Youth Pipe and Drum and St.Patties day several years ago i wore my whole get-up to my high school as i was playing after class. If you aren't aware the traditional wear of the kilt includes wearing a dirk (a small knife) on your calf with the handle exposed. I was sent home for displaying a dangerous weapon. WTF

    .

they can wear the knife (kirpan) under their garments. it doesnt have to be exposed. also there is no size restrictions. so it can be very little and coverable or a large sword size for ceremonies.

Rgr dodger. Depending on your role you could have three!

1 - dagger in the sock
    2 - shortsword/dagger on the belt
3 - short/long sword in hand (scabbard lowhang from back) as part of honor guard

If you ever get the chance during the summer, we all should go up to Estes to the Scottish Highland games. Some of the knife throwing and mock knife fighting are GREAT!!!

Eliminate public education and everyone can choose to attend school of choice and observe whatever traditions/faiths/beliefs they like.

    Pretty simple.

Get govt out of education and make parents responsible for kids education.
