before everyone goes too far. my wife is a teacher, and in their messages they found out it is a transportation issue. the buses are diesels. they are either not starting or dying. even colowyoming said today he saw a lot of diesels on the road because the gelled up.
so unless you want your kids stranded on the side of the road in a poorly heated bus to begin with, then with no heat, you would probably appreciate having them at home for the day.

other kids have to walk to school. I have been out and about a few times today, not a problem walking I think, but there are also some kids who don't even have winter jackets. I know because I bought a couple last year.
