I was going to post something in reference to the candidates but you beat me too it. Of the ones I heard on the way home, Denver is in trouble, regardless of who wins. Every last one of them believes Gun control is too lax, and "needs work", Doug Linkhart even went as far to say, he'd like to see a 5 day waiting period for gun purchases, as well as requiring gun owners to lock up ammunition and store their firearms with gun locks, what a POS. None of them seem to think there is any issue with illegal immigrants.

Default Denver Down the tube way long ago

I became a FFL holder in about 1974/1975, can't remember the exact year. I had planned to open a gun shop in Denver when I retired , which I did in 2003. During the so-called "SUMMER OF VIOLENCE" in Denver, media tag, not mine, Denver passed a Zoning Ordanance outlawing so called "Kitchen Table Dealers", which would have been me, from having a FFL license in the City and County of Denver, if you did not have a "Brick and Mortar" place of business.

To make a long story short, I was "Zoned out of Business" and a life long passion and dream went up in smoke, sure I could have moved out of Denver or opened the business outside of Denver, but being sort of stubborn, MY WIFE's TAG, NOT MINE, I said screw 'em .

Fast forward to the present economic strait Denver is in, sort of puts a smile on my face that these clowns didn't realize having tax revenue coming in would help the city balance its books, oh, but I forgot they have so-called Medical Marijuana Dispensarys to make up the slack.

Glad I'm in a locked and loaded frame of mind or else I might have to throw a lit marijuana cigarette at the low life who wants to break into my home.
