Don't be chickenshit about firing your AK. If it is made completely half assed it won't fail on the first shot anyway it will fall apart during the break in period. I know I've done that way. Turns out I didn't heat treat the receiver.
All but 1 of my builds run like a top.
The pistol build is the only 1 giving me probs.

What do you have so far?
You need a; parts kit, reciever flat, rivets, files, bending jig just for the basics. Some people have made it much more complicated.
I would be interested. It sounds like a very interesting and fun way to go... and also with prices up so much and nothing available, a much more affordable way to go.
