Thank you for your messages concerning HB-1205 concerning the authority of a law abiding person to carry a concealed handgun without a permit. The bill was highly contested both in the Judiciary Committee and the floor. The bill was amended on the floor to include that there is a 21 year old age limit to legally possess and own a gun. The bill is now currently in the senate and assigned to State Military and Veterans affairs Committee.
