I bought a safe at Sportsman's Warehouse in Thornton on 84th Ave. I think I got a good deal. I bought a manual combination tumbler, only because they still work in case of an EMP.

Speaking of an EMP, I don't remember the brands, but a couple of years ago there were some articles about taking a " stun gun " and zapping the keypads of digital safes and they opened right up. So research the safe before you buy.

Very true. Most modern day safes with digital keypads won't allow that anymore...when zapped the board will fry and not release the bolt. I do perfer dials more than digital but either works for me...plus I try to beef up any weak point of the safe. Just remember, if the bad guys want in they will get in!!!

Another thing I need to buy with my tax return...I have to do more research on what will fit in my bedroom closet.

You can always remodel the closet to fit the safe.

Well I guess we know who spends the most time "In the Closet"- aren't you supposed to be babysitting the Grandtrunkmonkey?

I'd have to remodel the room to fit the safe. Too much effort.
