I didn't watch the game this year, or last year.

I challenge someone to find a Superbowl halftime show that didn't suck to the max. I know I've never seen one.

A good singer-sing the anthem the way it should be sung and it's great. These damn diva singers think they have to put their own spin on it and usually end up screwing it up. rant off

I don't much care for Aguilera but I'll give her credit for carrying on to where a lot of people missed her flub, owning up to flubbing it afterward and not carrying on like Roseanne Barr.

Didn't watch a lick of any of it-too busy in the shop threading muzzles.
I have heard cuts of C.A. and her FUBAR of the SSB. For a "Professional" entertainer to foul up the most revered song at the most revered sporting event in the Nation is pathetic.
Hell, I have been to plenty of sporting events where a 9 year old belted it out loud and clear.
I think an earlier post hit the nail on the head: if they would quit trying to "Hip it Up" and just sing it the way it is meant to be sung: From the Heart.

As far as Rosanne's version- she should have been taken out to the parking lot afterwards and molested with a chain saw.

From a musician - I know they are "known" for their use of Autotune. However, groups always use way too much of the stupid program. The show in its entireity was too concieved. They had some good ideas but they just didn't pull them off. And what was with the outfits? Were they on the soundtrack of Tron or something? I thought it was horrible, but not as horrible as messing up the NATIONAL ANTHEM. Did you see the horror on the soliders faces? HAHAH.
